Support Worker - Domestic​

Glasshouse Country Care is looking for someone who is passionate about enhancing the quality of life of our wonderful clients.  Our main objective is to provide support through domestic tasks to the aged, as well as people living with a disability, enabling them to continue to live independently in their own homes.

​

Your duties will include general household duties such as:

• vacuuming, sweeping, mopping

• meal preparation and cooking

• general cleaning such as washing dishes, cleaning benches

• washing, hanging clothes, and folding

• changing and washing bed linen.

 

What we can offer:

• A casual position with a minimum of 10 hours per week with a possibility of up to 30 hours per week

• A friendly supportive team

• Training and support.

 

To be considered for this role, you must:

• Be able to work within the Policies and Procedures of Glasshouse Country Care

• Be able to apply for a positive notice police check and yellow card

• Have a reliable vehicle that is registered and comprehensively insured to use for work in Queensland

• Have a current first aid and CPR certificate

• Have a reliable mobile smart phone

• Have experience working with older people or people with a disability preferred but not necessary.
