Support Worker - Domestic Assistant

We are looking for a Domestic Assistant Support Worker to join our team at Glasshouse Country Care providing care and support services to older people and younger persons with a disability.

​

In this casual role you will be completing domestic assistance tasks helping our clients and participants to continue to live safely and independently in their own home.

​

Your duties will include general household duties such as:

• Vacuuming, sweeping, mopping

• Meal preparation and cooking

• General cleaning such as washing dishes, cleaning benches

• Washing, hanging clothes and folding

• Changing and washing bed linen.

 

Requirements:

• Current NDIS Worker Screening (or willingness to obtain)

• Have an open driver licence and reliable vehicle that is registered and comprehensively insured to use for work in Queensland

• Reliable mobile smart phone

• Experience working with older people or people with a disability preferred but not necessary.
