Service Delivery Support - Rostering
This position is responsible for providing a range of timely and accurate administrative support, receiving referrals, onboarding of clients and rostering services that are designed to maintain the safety and independence of older people and people with a disability.

DUTIES

Retrieve client referrals from the relevant referral portal and process through the GHCC onboarding system

Administer all staff rosters that enable an effective balance to be achieved between optimising staffing efficiency and maximising staff satisfaction

Work collaboratively with the Home Support Coordinator to ensure rosters reflect resource needs to meet service delivery demands

Ensure the roster is completed and available to staff in a timely manner that meets industrial requirements

In conjunction with the Home Support Coordinator effectively coordinate both planned and unplanned leave of staffing resources

Identify, and with the support of the General Manager and Home Support Coordinator, actively identify any foreseeable capacity gaps to ensure service delivery is optimised

Undertake administrative activities related to managing the roster, including but not limited to inputting and updating staff details and attendance preferences

Liaise with staff regarding changes and updates to the roster

Liaise with clients to ensure they are aware of any staffing changes

Answer any phone enquiries regarding client enquiries

Communicate respectfully with all individuals including service users, representatives, staff and the community

Data entering into organisational Data Management System.

Participate in education and training opportunities

Promote safety by following organisational WHS requirements and guidelines

Contribute to continuous improvement by involvement in staff meetings, planning days, and feedback mechanisms

Follow policies and procedures

Other duties as requested by the General Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Experience with computerised data management systems
-
Experienced working in Aged Care and/or Disability Support.
PERSONAL ABILITIES/APTITUDES/SKILLS

Police check (less than 3 years old)

A strong commitment to working with older people or people with a disability

Ability to work in a team and independently

Be self-motivated, resourceful and innovative

Knowledge of relevant community resources

Experience in automated information systems

A high standard of written and verbal communication skills

A motor vehicle driver’s licence and own vehicle
-
Maintain Covid Vaccination requirements.
