Changes to Aged Care Act

 

As you may have seen in the media, the new Aged Care Act is expected to come into place on 1 July 2025. This will mean changes to government funding for home support services and residential care.

At this stage, firm details about these changes are scarce.

 

Changes to Home Care Packages will take effect from 1 July 2025, however we have been advised that there will be no change to funding through the current Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) until 2027.

We will provide our clients with more detail as it becomes available to us.
