Access Glasshouse Country Aged Care Services in 5 Easy Steps

You can ring our Clinical Manager  (registered nurse) on (07) 5494 6948 who will discuss what services would support your needs and eligibility for care.

Having made a decision we recommend that you discuss your choice/s with your family or friends before proceeding.

If you are over 65 years please ring My Aged Care on 1800 200 422 or visit their website and ask for Glasshouse Country Care to be your service provider.

If you are an individual requiring disability support and are under 65 years you can contact us directly on (07) 5494 6948.

After registering with My Aged Care or ringing us directly we will arrange to commence your services to suit your individual needs.

Glasshouse Country Care is an approved provider of home and community care funded by the Government to assist individuals and their carers with ageing or disability in a home care environment.

We supply services to assist disabled consumers and elderly people to remain functionally independent in their own homes, for as long as possible. Some consumers may only require support in one area of their daily lives while others may require multiple homecare services.

Consumer Directed Care (CDC)

In delivering CDC Glasshouse Country Care will ensure consumers are at the fore front in the decision making process empowering them to be in control of their lives by providing them with information in relation to service options, whilst exceeding aged care standards.

We will work in a respectful and balanced partnership with individual clients encouraging them to identify their own goals, and help them to tailor packages to suit their own needs.

We will aim to support clients to be as independent as possible and work within a framework of wellness and re-ablement.

Glasshouse Country Care was established in 1996 to provide local community care. Under the guidance of a management committee and implementing the best aged care accreditation standards the organisation continues to grow and flourish.

Staff

Glasshouse Country Care only employ staff with suitable qualifications for their roles and all hold a current Police Check.

Our Clinical Program Manager is a Registered Nurse. Our support staff for in-home direct care hold a minimum Certificate III in aged or disability care.

All field staff hold a current First Aid Certificate, manual handling and Basic Life Support.
